The nursery doesn't need to be perfect. The outfits and the photos don't need to be a certain style. We just want them to be healthy. It also has challenged us as women to do whatever it takes to keep our little ones safe. It's called us to rise up as protectors. Leon was born yesterday and as I held him in my arms for the first time, I wished so dearly to show him my face. But I couldn't. Everyone was required to wear a mask. We didn't know if my husband would even be able to be in the delivery room with me. And most of this journey, I've had to handle on my own. Thankfully, the hospital allowed him to be there and he was able to hold his newborn son for the first time as well. My husband and I have been praying for months. We declared in faith and boldly trusted the Lord's promises over our family. There were many different anxieties that stressed us until this point. Even now as I write this post and the nurses are doing tests on the baby, I have to continue to pray. But He continues to speak over us, "Be still and know that I am God." Be still my soul. Be still my soul... For all the moms who are facing this pandemic with me, I applaud your courage and commend you. One day the pandemic will be over. But the lessons we learn in this time will change the way we raise this next generation. Let's not be afraid but model a lifestyle of honor and poise. We will get through this together. #teammotherly #motherhoodunplugged #instamoms #covid_19 #covid2020 #covidbaby Публикация, споделена от Grace (@adellubies) на Апр 21, 2020 в 9:40 PDT
