For the cover, I chose this portrait of Altaf, a 6 yr old from a small village on the outskirts of Kuala Lumpur. Altaf's favorite food is the chicken and beef satay his father makes and sells at his own stand. It's seasoned with ginger and herbs, roasted over charcoal and served with cold cucumber.
