One of the biggest regrets that I have when going to different places is not being able to speak the local language. Even when I asked him for the photo, I had to gesture and point and I wish it didn't seem like I was treating him as an exotic photo opportunity. I wish I could sit down and have a conversation with him about his life and work, his country and his family.
