WORLD WIDE BREASTFEEDING WEEK. As a pediatrician I am always in awe, and very envious, of the relationship between mothers and their children. Yes, us fathers rock and we work and love our families so hard but the bond between a mother and her child is unique. One of my favorite things as a dad is to observe my wife as she interacts with our kids. They just have that special bond. Sometimes I secretly listen to the conversations my wife has with the kids as she teaches them life lessons. Breastfeeding epitomizes the special bond mom's have with their children. The female yin.
