View this post on Instagram 1 YEAR ???? since I published Prajna! Writing this book was transformational and cathartic in so many ways, researching Ayurveda, weaving in my own experience and story, being transported to India, describing the emotions that were crystallised in these magical moments and places, and at other times reliving the most difficult times, understanding what has come from them and where this has landed me, and ultimately that all these experiences and stories bring us closer to the essence of Prajna... or Pragya (which is how it's really pronounced) . I wanted to say a huge thank you today to you all! I can't thank you enough for your posts, your heartfelt messages and for your reviews. Writing a book and putting it out there in the world... well you're putting a very honest piece of you out there... and receiving your messages and seeing the reviews on Amazon has been reassuring and incredible! So thank you???? and of course, thanks to everyone who helped me write, edit and publish Prajna - to my agent, editor, publisher, publicist, Ayurveda practitioners and friends. . I don't know who wrote this but I thought I'd share this recent review on amazon: 'There are many books out there that'll claim to change your life, Prajna doesn't say that, but it should. A deeply inspirational book of wisdom, knowledge and spirituality scattered with memoirs that manage to transport you to a time and place you long to be. Prajna holds your hand and guides you through beautiful age-old tradition and rituals and the knowing hugs you so tightly, that you'll never want to let go. Buy a copy, then buy another one for someone you love.' #prajna #ayurveda #publicationday A post shared by M ī R A M A N E K (@miramanek) on Sep 5, 2020 at 2:22am PDT
